About us

Hello! We are the Hendersons — Ryan and Rachel. We own and operate Hazelnut Hill, which is located in the fertile Willamette Valley just north of Eugene, Oregon. In 2016, we added a commercial confectionary and the top-notch roasting equipment that took us from just trees, to making tree-to-table products.

All hazelnuts are grown on our 400 acres. Each order is roasted on demand, and candy is handmade in our professional kitchen. Rachel tests and develops all recipes – always in search of fresh, mouth-watering combinations of hazelnuts and chocolate. (The rest of the family is always ready to serve as taste-testers!)

This tree-to-table approach provides Hazelnut Hill customers with high-quality, delicious nut-based products with a full chain of control that assures source, sustainability and consistency.

Product Storage & Freshness

Unlike wine and cheese, our products don’t improve with age. We make product when an order is received, and don’t use preservatives, so DON’T HOARD these tasty items-gobble them up! See below for shelf life estimates

Brittle 4-6 weeks at room temperature

Toffee 6-8 weeks at room temperature (freezes well!)

Hazelnut Butter 3 months at room temperature/ 9-12 months refrigerated

Pancake/Waffle Mix 12 months

Chocolate Covered Hazelnuts 12 months

Natural and Roasted Hazelnuts 3-4 months (12-14 months in freezer)

Salted Hazelnuts 2-3 months (12-14 months in freezer)

Hazelnut Meal 4-6 months at room temperature (12-14 months in freezer)
